Chefs competing in the 2024 Poke Fest will receive the following:
- Two general admission tickets ($230 value)
- Swag bag of gifts ($200 value)
- Inclusion in the 2024 Koloa Landing Resort Poke Cook Book
- 4 chef’s wrist bands for you and your team
- National marketing exposure
- 25 pounds of fresh ahi
- Access to the competitor lounge
- Meet with James Beard Awarded chef Sam Choy
Only 20 chefs will be selected to participate in this year’s festival. Each chef’s poke creation will be judged by an expert panel of chefs, judges, & media. Three winners will be selected based on total number of points in the categories of originality, presentation, and taste with a max score of 10 points per category.
1st place will receive:
- A $2,000 Visa Gift Card
- Airfare and hotel accommodations for two to travel to Honolulu and be featured on the Sam Choy in the Kitchen TV show as a guest chef
- A three-day / two-night stay at Koloa Landing Resort in a 2-bedroom villa
- A special complimentary invitation to participate and defend your trophy in the following year’s competition
- The coveted purple apron
- Your name engraved on the Crystal Poke Bowl
2nd place will receive:
- A $1,000 Visa Gift Card
- Three-day / two-night stay at Koloa Landing Resort in a 2-bedroom villa
3rd place will receive:
- A $500 Visa Gift Card
