COMPETITOR SIGNUPS ARE CLOSED

Mahalo to everyone that signed up to compete in this year’s Kauai Poke Fest on Saturday, May 28, 2022. We have filled up all the competitor spots available and have now closed out registration to compete.

Contestants are invited to arrive at the property as early as 9:00am to begin preparing their dishes. All dishes must be ready for a private pre-judging (without the general public) by 2:00pm. Contestants that are not ready to serve our panel of judges by 2:00pm will be disqualified. Doors will open to the public around 4:30pm.

Contestants will be given 20 pounds of poke grade ahi, but are responsible for providing their own ingredients and will be given a $150 stipend to help cover costs. Contestants will be judged on creativity, presentation, technique, & taste.

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be determined by popular votes from the attendees & judges. The winners will receive:

1st Place Winner ($11,000 value)
Will receive $1,000 in cash + a 7-day / 6-night stay at Koloa Landing Resort in a luxurious 2-bedroom Villa + complimentary two-day private cabana poolside at the Best Pool in America + their winning poke dish will be added to the menu at Holoholo Grill

2nd Place ($3,000 value)
A two-night stay in a 1-bedroom Villa at Koloa Landing Resort + $500 cash prize and a private poolside cabana (1 day) at the resort’s 350,000-gallon main pool voted Best Pool in America

3rd Place ($1,000 value)
A one-night stay in a Studio Suite at Koloa Landing resort + $250 cash prize
